The Holy Rosary

Note

The Rosary is the fifteen decade Rosary, historically used by Catholics for generations, not the ill-conceived 20-decade sequence supposedly only 'suggested' by the late JP2, but nevertheless immediately adopted by 'new church', worldwide, as if the true Rosary had never existed.

One steps through each prayer. There are optional versions of the prayers, which one can see by clicking the, alt, button. One Our Father, for example, is taken from the Rhemes, directly. An alternative opening prayer is my own. There are variations on the Fatima prayer, found around the web. That's reflected here, and so on.

There is also an alternative sequence, at the end of five or fifteen decades. If one selects one prayer, it triggers one sequence, another then another sequence.

The prayers step only in the forward direction. One may switch to the beginning of the Rosary by continuing to click on, Select, in the 'tool'/navigation bar. Then click on the arrow button to see the opening prayer.

If you leave the page, a cookie should be saved to your computer which remembers where you were, in case you must leave off in the middle.

[In future, a more elaborate version should be available, which will provide excerpts from the fathers and others for each decade, as well as other features.]
